भगवान दसवें अध्याय में यह कह चुके हैं कि मनुष्य के मन-मस्तिष्क में जो भी विचार, भाव, जिज्ञासाएँ, संकल्प आदि आते हैं, वो सब मेरे से ही आते हैं। अतः यहाँ यह बात ख्याल में आना स्वभाविक है कि अर्जुन जो कुछ भी जिज्ञासाएँ कर रहा है, जो भी प्रश्न उठा रहा है, उन सबके पीछे भगवान की ही प्रेरणा है। प्रभु की इच्छा से ही प्रश्न उसके मुँह से निकल रहे हैं, अर्जुन को भगवान निमित्त बना रहे हैं। भगवान स्वयं चाहते हैं कि अपने विराट रूप, विश्वरूप को मैं अर्जुन को दिखाऊँ, जिससे कि आने वाले समय में लोगों को मेरी विभूतियों एवं शक्तियों के बारे में कोई संशय न रहे। हो सकता है कि मनुष्य ये सोचें कि भगवान ने अपनी विभूतियों का केवल वर्णन ही किया, प्रत्यक्षतः दिखाया, क्यों नहीं? इसके अतिरिक्त एक बात और है - भगवान ने विज्ञान सहित ज्ञान देने की बात कही थी, उसे भी पूरा करना है। ज्ञान में सिद्धांतों, तथ्यों, शक्तियों, आकार-प्रकारों, रूपों-स्वरूपों को केवल वर्णन किया जाता है, किन्तु विज्ञान में प्रयोग करके प्रत्यक्ष आखों के सामने दिखाया भी जाता है। विराट स्वरूप का दिग्दर्शन करना ही विनय है।

God has said in the tenth chapter that whatever thoughts, feelings, curiosities, resolutions etc. come in the mind and brain of a man, they all come from Me only. Therefore, it is natural to remember here that whatever inquiries Arjuna is making, whatever questions he is raising, behind them all is the inspiration of God. Questions are coming out of his mouth only by the will of the Lord, God is making Arjuna an instrument. God himself wants me to show my great form, world form to Arjuna, so that in times to come people will have no doubts about my personalities and powers. It is possible that people may think that God only described His Vibhutis, directly showed them, why not? Apart from this, there is one more thing - God had said about giving knowledge along with science, that too has to be fulfilled. In knowledge principles, facts, powers, shapes, forms and forms are only described, but in science they are also shown in front of the eyes by using them. It is humility to guide the great form.
